Extending as an integral part of Mahalangur Himalayan Region, Kyazo Ri peak is elevated to the height of 6186 meters above the sea level. Mt. Kyazo Ri chains a long line of peaks ending at Mt. Cho Oyu, running all the way along the northern limit of Namche Bazaar, the gate way to Everest.
A Franco-British team in 2002 climbed the peak to make it the first successful ascend to the summit.
